HML employees get behind Children in Need

70 employees at HML’s Derry call centre will man the phones for Children in Need on Friday 18 November.
2011 will be the fourth year running that HML has supported Children in Need and volunteers will work through until the early hours to collect donations pledged over the phone.
Children in Need relies on the support of call centres like HML to deal with high call volumes on the night. In 2010, from a total of £39m raised, £6.2m was collected through call centres. People calling the Children in Need number, 0345 7 33 22 33, in the Derry area will be put through to HML
HML’s Derry site director Mel Smith said: “Children in Need night is a highlight for everyone. There is a great atmosphere in the call centre and HML is delighted to be able to support such a worthy cause for another year.”
