Excellence in Outsourcing
HML and the NOA (National Outsourcing Association)
HML is committed to the professional development of its people in order to deliver a market leading service to clients. To support this, HML has developed a strategic partnership with the National Outsourcing Association (NOA), which results in employees undertaking NOA qualifications designed to develop their understanding of professional outsourcing.
NOA Courses
Run at certificate and diploma level, the NOA’s courses challenge employees to look objectively at existing HML processes and incorporate the latest industry best practices into work processes for servicing outsourced mortgages, savings or loans. This keeps our thinking current, which is what you would expect of an organisation at the forefront of its market.
A section of our talented people get involved in complex work-based outsourcing questions and projects, and this work then contributes to industry recognised outsourcing qualifications at Certificate or Diploma level.
This knowledge, and the learning from the work based aspects of these programmes, has helped us rethink how we make some decisions as a financial outsourcer.
Anu Biswas, HML’s Head of Quality Control, won the NOA’s 2011 Academic Achievement award. A version of her final thesis Managing the Dichotomy of Servicer and Client Cultures as a Critical Success Factor in Outsourcing will soon be available here
“The National Outsourcing Association has been promoting best practice in outsourcing for almost 25 years and offers the only professional qualifications in outsourcing that are UK University accredited.
“For the past two years HML has worked closely with the NOA’s professional development arm, NOA Pathway, to develop market leading programmes that develop a high level of outsourcing professionalism.
“The programmes remain a key element of HML’s talent management strategy for its high potential employees and demonstrate the company’s continued commitment to excellence in outsourcing.”
